We start with a Needs
Assessment to determine purchase recommendations for your specific
requirements You could be throwing your money away if you
make critical purchasing decisions on your own or on the advice of
a computer salesman (or even people you know who have been "doing
it themselves" with PCs for years). Meeting one's own needs does
not qualify anyone to advise others on how to meet their needs -
some things are best left to experienced professionals. We do
NOT sell computer equipment and do NOT earn commissions on any
purchase you make, so you can be certain that our advice is not
motivated by any desire to get you to spend more money than you
need to spend. This is what separates a consultant from a
salesperson. We specialize in analyzing a client's
needs and recommending a complete package of the hardware,
software, and accessories that will get the job done most
efficiently. We will search for the best combination of price,
service, and reliability in a vendor and recommend one or more
vendors on this basis. You will get a "shopping list" of
exactly what we recommend, and why our
recommendations will fit your needs. We will also assist you in
dealing with the vendor should there be any problems with your
order.

Setup.
The transition to new
computer equipment can be both exciting and frustrating. We
specialize in quick setup and transfer of data from your old
system to the new one. We can also convert old files to be
compatible with new software and even new operating systems and
platforms (ie, switching from Mac to PC or PC to Mac).

& Software Training.
You will invest
thousands of dollars in new equipment and software. Why spend days
or weeks of trial-and-error learning how to use your new
equipment, when a few hours of consulting time can get you there
much faster? We can even take your knowledge and abilities

conversions from one platform to the other. We specialize in
allowing Macintosh users to run
Microsoft Windows and Windows applications on their
Mac, as well as translating & sharing word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and other data files between different platforms and application programs. Many of our clients have been truly amazed at our abilities to export information from old software and import it into their new software. We can also network Macs & PCs for sharing printers, files, databases, and Internet access.

Standard Rates for home users: $75 per hour for onsite service. Discounts available to PC or Mac User Group members and full-time students (and parents of full-time students living with them). 1 hr. minimum applies. A small travel fee may apply depending on your location.
