We have been using a digital camera on a regular basis since the first consumer digital camera was released in 1995. Our recommendation for digital camera shoppers is to look first at companies with a long history of making high quality cameras - Canon, Olympus and Nikon.

The biggest cost associated with traditional photography is not the equipment - it's the film and the film processing. If you estimate the cost each photo that you take, including a trip to the store for film and the cost of the film, a trip to the store to drop off the film, a trip to the store to pick up the film and the cost for the film processing and printing, you can call $1 per developed photo a fair estimate. 300 photos with a digital camera can PAY for the digital camera in savings on film and processing! Just think of the creative freedom in being to take several or even dozens of photos to get that PERFECT shot, without any additonal costs to worry about!

Digital Video
Digital video, or DV, has become the dominant format for mid-range and high-end camcorders. Major companies such as Sony, JVC, Panasonic, Canon, and more offer a complete line of reasonably-priced (starting at around $400), high-quality DV camcorders. DV camcorders are also available in professional models (starting around $2000).

Digital video editing gives you the freedom to turn hours of somewhat-boring footage into an exciting and compelling video production with titles, transitions, sound effects, music, narration, and more.

We will only work with Macintosh users for desktop or laptop digital video solutions. There is simply too much complexity and too many technical barriers facing a PC user who wants to be creative with digital video, without becoming a computer technical wizard.
